Ministry of Climate recognises AS Silmet Grupp and AS Sillamäe Sadam
Silmet Grupp and Sillamäe Sadam were recognised by the Ministry of Climate on 16 September 2026 as the 2026 Cooperation Partners for their contribution to shaping the Industrial Roadmap.
On 19 May 2026, the Minister of Climate and Energy and the Minister of Economic Affairs and Industry, together with AS Silmet Grupp, AS Sillamäe Sadam and other companies and business organizations, signed a letter of intent aimed at cooperating to develop Estonia’s living environment and economy, with a particular focus on clean industry. A joint working group was established to develop and implement solutions for carrying out the Industrial Roadmap. Particular initial attention was given to the importance of promoting the critical raw materials and maritime industry sectors.
